Wow! Has it really been 4 years?.
I can't believe how long it has been since I even looked at my blog much less thought of posting something... so many things are new, some are the same such as I'm still quilting but not as much as I was because...well I started crocheting and recently got back into cross stitch. My 4 grandkids are keeping me hopping busy with all their stuff...I've joined instagram since I last posted and last night a dear friend suggested I start blogging again and she helped me link my Nonies homemade to my blog...here are a few things I've been doing. I am going to be more intentional with posting blogs in the future, I really missed the blogging community. Until next time .

2017 is here...
Hard to believe how fast 2016 past by, there were so many things going on at the beginning of the year but it ended well....The flu bug hit our home pretty hard and since I was home bound I decided to make the best of it and ordered a few things from Missouri Star quilt Co. And got enough inspiration to make a few aprons. I'm really looking forward to a couple new projects as well...

Skirt Making...
I am having the most fun making my little grandgirl skirts for her summer wardrobe...I have yards and yards of Moda fabric and elastic so all I need to buy is matching T-shirts...she loves wearing them as much as I love sewing them...

Truth...
I can't believe it's been such a long time since I blogged here, I have not been able to concentrate long enough to sew one single stich this year until just the couple days...I finished making a quilt for a friends daughter and that kind of rebooted the whole thing...seems like I can't quit sewing now...the Truth is this year has started off really rough and I honestly have been in such a funk that anything I enjoyed was put way on hold, about the only way I could get through was just work and come home and watch episodes of the Andy Griffith show...sounds silly but that's my Truth, right now I'm much better and feel that slowly I am recovering from the depression that had a grip on me....I've never been depressed before I've always been positive and upbeat...I am letting God heal me and He will and He does...again that is Truth.
I am able to do the things I most enjoy outside of time with my Husband and children and Grandchildren and that is Cook delicious meals, work in my garden, Read lots of books and Sew to my hearts content...I am once again looking forward to doing the things I enjoy doing instead of dreading them...that is my Truth...finally in ending this I will say I have a wonderful Husband that just loves me as I am...and helped me through this difficult time he was and is always my Cheerleader always my encourager and always my rock to hold onto (next to God of course)...with all that Truth said I am ready to get going on this adventure called life...and that is the honest TRUTH!!!

Heading into Fall....
It's been such a long time since I've had time to blog. Life got busy and time flew by and I just checked and seen it's been several months. I have been sewing it's just slow right now as I am getting geared up to start my Christmas sewing. I was really hoping to be organized and ahead of myself to add my stuff to a couple Bazzar's this year but looks like it's not going to happen.
well I am off to look for ideas for sewing...wish me lots of luck....Here is a couple pictures of some of the things I've been working on.
