Busy as a Bee...

Yesterday I had an all day sewing marathon and it was glorious!!!!...I made 4 burp cloths using cloth diapers they turned out nice and then I made my Daughter in Law a handbag she wanted one to use for her makeup...I love days that I get to be at home creating and sewing to my hearts content...

This morning I decided to get creative I found a you tube video that was easy and very detailed how to make these darling little handbags so............or should I say Sew................It only took me about 2 hours to make..

A few Fun Projects completed...

I was able to finish a couple little projects that I have been working on...it seems like my time has been racing by and I can't get enough time to get all my sewing done that I would like to but I made a point last week to sit down and get these little things done...a hand embroidered mini flower pillow and a small table runner....

I need Motivation I need Inspiration....

I have not touched my sewing machine in at least 2 months as shocking as that is to me I can't believe it as I am typing it here...but it's true I lost my motivation to create...then low and behold my quilting Friend gives me a call and says lets go to the quilt shops on Saturday....and am I ever excited to go and get that motivation back and be inspired again to make some cute things...My sewing machine and I are missing each other terribly and I think this might just be the cure...last week I ordered the book "Patchwork Please!" and "Mug Rugs" and have been thumbing through them and getting some ideas for a couple projects I'd like to try...so all in all I am sure this Saturday trip to the Fabric shops will get me going again...

New Books to Motivate me...

YIKES!! it's April already?....

Time is speeding by way too fast I can't believe Christmas is so long ago or should I say coming again quickly?...whats the big rush?...anyway so many things have come and gone since I last posted...My GrandGirl turned 4 in Feb...we celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary...we celebrated My Husbands Birthday...and we found out our 4th Grandchild is going to be a Girl possibly named Jett...we celebrated a wonderful Easter with a message of Hope...and in the middle of all this busyness we found out a dear Friend of ours, one of My Husband's longest Friendships has a very terrible form of cancer and starts his chemo treatment today...life just keeps on going faster and faster we can hardly catch our breath at times...reminds us to hold those we love dearest close because we just never know what God has for us but be sure it will be for His Glory and He will get us through it all victoriously...while the world flies by at lightening speed I will choose to slow down and cling tight to my Heavenly Father the one that holds my Future in his nail scared hands...
